Anatomy

This is the Anatomy department with an interesting history. Dr.Srinivasamurthi was instrumental in creating in the public mind, an awareness to the potentialities of the indigenous systems of medicine and so also he appraised the Maharaja for instituting the School of Indian Medicine. The Raja was so overwhelmed and with joy he donated the entire piece of land under his command and thus was born in 1925, the School of Indian Medicine. The horse stable of his, now presents as the Anatomy Department.

Charts are prepared by the students under our guidance.
Horizontal integrated teaching program was held in our college on 8th April. The topic was ‘Blood supply of the heart and its clinical correlation’

This is the OLD Dissection Hall of the Anatomy Department.

Anatomy Lecture Hall This is the OLD lecture hall has the capacity of 350 students and is of the gallery type. The proposal for this lecture hall was sanctioned in 2002 in an attempt to increase the number Undergraudate medical seats from 100-150 it was completed in the year 2006 and was inaugurated by our Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Thiru.
